Significance of fiber in diet- to prevent constipation

Eat rich fiber food content like green vegetables, cabbage, fresh fruits, green salads, whole grains, wheat flour, etc.
. Fibre prevents constipation ( constipation occurs due to sedentary lifestyle, lack of exercise, junk food) . Thus diseases like piles, anal fissure can be avoided
. Fibre helps in weight loss
. This has been recommended by American nutrition specialists. They also recommend reduction in saturated fat to reduce risk of colorectal cancer
